— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE A pale young man with black hair and dark silver eyes. At 5'6" he's on the shorter end of average. He can come across as slightly off-putting since he moves silently and casts no shadow.

CLOTHINGA dark tamarind purple cloak worn over an embroidered tunic with a gray turtleneck. Leather leggings and boots. He nearly always has his hood pulled up.

DEMEANOR Flamboyant, energetic and talks with his hands. Seems to love the sound of his own voice. He moves like a dancer and smiles often but there is never any actual joy in his expression.

AURALFandaniel has a throaty, lilting voice with a dark edge to it. At times it can be almost hypnotic. Sometimes he speaks in the voice of Asahi sas Brutus, whose corpse he is currently residing in. This voice is younger and sharper with a slight lisp.

OLFACTORYNothing. He has no scent of his own. Even if someone were standing very close to him they'd smell the room they're in, not him.

METAPHYSICALAttempts to comprehend the being contained within Asahi's body will reveal a vast, dark well of rage, contempt and despair. The energy is fractured and wrong-feeling. While he is powerful, the bigger sense someone would get of the Ascian Fandaniel is that he is irreparably broken.

— SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES —

MAGIC Fandaniel is a talented mage and most skilled in umbral and creation magic though he is not as powerful in either as the Unsundered of his kind.

STRENGTH Asahi had been a soldier and samurai prior to his death so Fandaniel retains that muscle in his body. He is not superhuman or even at peak human strength. In fact, as a mage, Fandaniel barely knows what to do with the muscle he now has but it's there when he really needs it.

SCIENCE Fandaniel is a scientist with a genius level intellect. His specialties are chemistry, engineering, and bio-engineering. He has also created and worked with the closest thing his world has had to computers.

FLIGHT Fandaniel can fly and is also a master at the mechanics involved in flight.

AETHERIAL BEING As an energy being living in a corpse, Fandaniel is immune to disease and poison, is ageless, and is resistant to mind control and most forms of magical/elemental damage. He also doesn't need to eat, sleep or breathe but can do these things if he wants to.

ECHO Fandaniel can transcend the normal limits of a soul and resonate with the souls of other beings. With this power he can read memories by peering into someone's soul as they are remembering something, merge his essence with other Ascians, and understand/be understood by anyone regardless of language barriers.

ABRAXIAN NERFS

The Echo/Teleportation: Viewing memories of other player characters will have to be addressed on an individual basis with those players. Memories of NPCs would need to be cleared with mods first. Fandaniel would be able to teleport about the Free Cities. However he cannot teleport past the Free Cities borders nor take any other characters with him.

Aetherial Being: He will be confined to Asahi's body.

Flight: Similar to teleportation, Fandaniel will be able to fly but not leave the confines of the Free Cities. Should he attempt to fly beyond these confines, he may abruptly lose the ability entirely.

Sensory Alteration/Illusions: Fandaniel will be able to cast illusions within reason. These may not work on other player characters or NPCs with high magical affinity.

Umbral Magic: Fandaniel will be able to use Umbral magics as usual, however he will not be able to wield anything that will equate to an instant-kill or sucking other player characters into an inescapable void.

Creation Magic: Fandaniel will be able to create inanimate objects within reason. He would not be able to create a building out of thin air, but should he wish to make himself a nice dining table he is free to do so. For animate/living objects, they would need to be small and of low sentience.
